Feb. 22, 2013.....where to begin......my one follower is my late husband.....we moved to Michigan with so many hopes......so much has happened.  We bought this old farmhouse for my husband, Robert, to renovate in his early retirement.  early retirement because he had leukemia, we had hopes he would live, went through treatments, bone marrow transplant etc.  He passed away Aug. 17, 2010....

I am working a full time job and a small part time job.....trying to renovate the house little by little....so the story continues.....

We have arrived!

We are finally here at our new home. It is more wonderful than I thought it possibly could be. The move went pretty well, we had a few problems as you would expect moving 1,200 miles. We are unpacking and seeing family in between the boxes. My husband is trying to locate his tools so he can get started on installing our tub. In the mean time we take all of our things and head out to our relatives homes to shower. I will post pictures soon. Life is so good.

Major Packing Day

Good morning! Today is the big packing day, everything goes into the boxes. Paper plates from here on out. This is the last week here in Colorado. I am holding my breath we get out of the mountains before it decides to snow.

Anxiously waiting

I can hardly contain myself as we wait for the big moving day. We are still about 2 weeks away from that time. I pray that the huge old maple trees will wait to change color until I arrive. How fitting that we should move in the fall as this is my very favorite season, and hopefully we will miss most of the humidity!
